Supporting Our Local Community

Building International Partnerships for Schools, Colleges, Youth and Adult Organisations

We help educational organisations develop projects, find trusted partners, and prepare for future funding opportunities.

Youth Rise Project celebrates £16,448 of National Lottery funding to help young people. “Youth Rise Project is a local community project run by BRIDGE CIC.”

Today, the project celebrates receiving £16,448.00 from The National Lottery Community Fund. The money will help them provide young people with a safe space and a place to meet.

Peter Beacock MSc formed the organisation to help local young people. The project runs sessions twice a week.

Young people who take part get a safe, welcoming space to meet, spend time together, and build friendships. The sessions help them feel supported and give them somewhere to turn to outside of home and school.

The funding will allow Youth Rise Project to continue and strengthen these sessions, helping more young people access a safe space to meet and connect with their peers.

“We’re delighted that The National Lottery Community Fund has recognised our work in this way. Thanks to National Lottery players, we can continue to give young people in our community a safe space to meet, connect and build friendships. This support means so much to the young people who rely on us.”

Potters House Church/Parnwell Community Centre, Peterborough

This space is for young people who are considered vulnerable. They are growing up in a deprived area. These young people face negative social barriers that can make life feel harder than it should be. These challenges include worries about employment. They also struggle with wellbeing. Additionally, there are impacts of drugs and alcohol within families, peer groups, or the wider community.

Today is about recognising those realities without judgement. It’s about creating a safe environment where you can speak openly and build confidence. You can explore opportunities and start to see pathways beyond the barriers in front of you. Your experiences matter, and so does your future.

Sport England Award Supports Community Project “Ping Into Motion”

We are pleased to announce that, subject to the terms and conditions of the award agreement, Sport England has awarded National Lottery funding to Building Resilience, Inclusion, Development, Growth, Education, and Research CIC to support the development and delivery of the community initiative Ping Into Motion.

This funding (£4,671) will enable BRIDGE CIC to develop and implement Ping Into Motion, a targeted project designed to strengthen community participation in sport and physical activity, with a focus on inclusion, resilience building, and personal development through structured engagement opportunities.

The project will support increased access to activity-based learning environments, helping participants build confidence, improve wellbeing, and develop transferable skills through sport-led engagement. It reflects a broader commitment to widening participation and creating accessible pathways into regular physical activity.

Ping Into Motion will be delivered in alignment with local needs and strategic priorities for community development, ensuring meaningful impact and sustainable engagement outcomes.

Further updates on project delivery, timelines, and engagement opportunities will be shared as the initiative progresses.
